How much HiPP German HA Stage 2 should you buy? Cow's Milk Protein Allergey (CMPA) Disclaimer
This product may not be suitable to be used by children who have beend diagnosed with, or are suspected of having a cow's milk protein allergy (CMPA). HiPP HA Stage 2 Formula is a hydrolyzed formula in which cow's milk proteins are broken down by 86-87%, and while many babies with a cow's milk protein allergy may thrive on this formula, it is not suitable for every child with CMPA. Only use this formula under the recommendation, guidance, and supervision of your child's pediatrician.
The definitions of the terms partially hydrolyzed and extensively hydrolyzed vary by country, and there is no global standard for the degree to which milk proteins are hydrolyzed in context of these labels. HiPP HA Stage 2 Formula is hydrolyzed by a factor of 86-87%.

Important Feeding Information
- Each baby formula uses different mixing proportions. Only use the scoop that is included in your formula.
- Only add water and scoops at the ratios intended by the manufacturer. Do not supplement the milk feeds with any additional ingredients.
- Do not prepare feeds in advance. In order to maintain maximum nutritional value, use the feeds immediately and dispose of any leftovers feed.
- Once prepared, feed should be used within 2 hours. Prepared formula should not be refrigerated, stored, or reheated in any way, as this could increase the risk of bacterial contamination from sources external to the formula, and storage may cause prepared formula to separate.
- Once opened, formula should be used within 21 days. Any unopened formula should not be used after the expiration date printed by the manufacturer on the box.

About HiPP German HA Stage 2
HiPP HA German Hydrolyzed Stage 2 Combiotic Follow-On Formula is tailor made to help babies who suffer from sensitivity to cow's milk protein, such as skin problems, hay fever-like symptoms, and digestion problems caused by ingredients in other baby formulas. HiPP HA German Stage 2 is suitable for babies aged six months and older, and can be used on its own as a breast milk substitute, or as a replacement to breast feeding.
This formula is similar to other hypoallergenic formulas. How is this formula made to by hydrolyzed? HiPP HA Stage 2 contains long chain milk proteins that have been hydrolyzed into smaller pieces, excluding casein from the cow's milk. Smaller whey protein is easier to digest, and therefore has a lower risk of adverse reactions to allergenic ingredients found naturally in milk. While the hydrolysis process makes milk less viscous, the consistency of this formula is less runny in comparison to other hydrolyzed formulas, even without the use of starch. Because HiPP HA Stage 2 is based on cow's milk, it is rich with lactose in the same way that breast milk is.
This all natural formula has naturally occurring omega-e and omega-6 long chain polyunsaturated fatty acids, including AA and DHA, which are essential in the development of brain and eye tissue. Similar to natural breast milk, HiPP HA Stage 2 also contains probiotics and prebiotics, which helps develop a baby's gut microbiome.
HiPP HA German Stage 2 is free of any soy, corn syrup, sugar, GMO's, artificial sweeteners, or synthetic preservatives. This formula is a natural transition from HiPP HA German Stage 1 or HiPP HA German Stage PRE.
Organic Life Start works directly with HiPP in Germany to deliver fresh baby formula that has a long expiration date of six months or more. Each shelf-stable box of HiPP HA German Stage 2 contains 600 grams (21.2 oz) of formula powder, which yields approximately 130 fluid ounces of prepared formula.
Why is this formula not organic? HiPP HA German Stage 2 contains hydrolyzed milk proteins, which cannot be certified as organic because they aren't available in organic form. All other ingredients in HiPP HA German Stage 1 are organic.
Important note: HiPP HA German Stage 2 should not be used as a medical treatment. HiPP HA German Stage 2 is a specialty formula that is designed to be gentler than other formulas but may not be suitable for babies diagnosed with a protein allergy.
