FedEx notice to OLS customers: Delay due to IT issue in Europe

Although our warehouse picks, packs, and ships 24/7, sometimes carriers experience delays that are beyond our control. FedEx has advised us of a major outage impacting some shipments, starting the week of April 4. We are sharing all information in realtime about this as we receive it from FedEx. If your parcel has already been picked up, please note that reaching out to our customer support team will not be able to expedite your order since it is already in the hands of the shipping carrier.



Please note that while these delays impact a small handful of FedEx shipments, if your parcel is with UPS or DHL you are not impacted by this IT outage which is external to Organic Life Start.

Tuesday Shipments

EU FedEx IT issue impacting Spanish, German, Swiss, French, Belgian, & Italian FedEx systems.

FedEx deployed a major IT system update that has created significant technical issues for shipments throughout continental Europe, including Express shipments to North America.

Potentially impacted orders:
Monday - Apr 4
Tuesday - Apr 5 (orders from first half of day)

Please note: you may be impacted by this if you see the last tracking update listed in Europe, with no updates in the past 48 hours. Our team is in constant communication with FedEx and is doing everything we can to push FedEx on their delay.

Wednesday Shipments

Core FedEx IT issues unresolved from prior day, however, FedEx pushed new orders through their legacy shipping systems.

Shipments picked up as usual by all carriers. No delays related to IT issues reported.

No new FedEx updates on core IT issues. New orders pushed by FedEx through legacy shipping systems.

Friday Shipments

FedEx attempted to route some orders through both new and old systems. No further FedEx updates on IT issues.

FedEx deployed a major IT system update that has created significant technical issues for shipments throughout continental Europe, including Express shipments to North America.

Thursday - Apr 7 (orders from second half of day)
Friday - Apr 8

APRIL 11 UPDATE: FedEx has informed us that all shipments on Friday have been diverted to the legacy shipping systems, and should continue moving as normal within the next few hours.

Monday Shipments

FedEx pauses all European Economy shipments, but Express shipments are said to resume regular operation. All Organic Life Start shipments use Express shipping.

Organic Life Start has been on the phone with FedEx account representatives all day and will continue posting information as it becomes available.

FedEx has informed us that all shipments from April 8 have been placed on their legacy shipping system and will continue moving as normal by Tuesday.

Updates to Organic Life Start orders status:
Friday - Apr 8 (orders from second half of day) - these are moving again
Saturday - Apr 9 - SHIPPING AS USUAL
Sunday - Apr 10 - SHIPPING AS USUAL
Monday - Apr 11 - SHIPPING AS USUAL

Tuesday Shipments - ALL SHIPMENTS BACK TO NORMAL!

All new Express shipments processing as normal for Organic Life Start (other retailers remain impacted).

All new orders are processing with normal shipping times.

All previously impacted orders are confirmed on the next flight to the US:
Monday - Apr 4
Tuesday - Apr 5 (orders from first half of day)

We are continuing to push FedEx on the orders from these dates which were impacted by their IT issues.

Wednesday Shipments

All FedEx shipping operations have reverted back to normal.
THIS WILL BE THE FINAL UPDATE

Nearly all previously impacted FedEx packages have moved on to subsequent stages in the delivery process. FedEx systems have resumed normal operation.
