Cow's Milk Protein Allergey (CMPA) Disclaimer
Aptamil Pepti Stage 1 should be used under medical supervision. This product may not be suitable to be used by all children who have beend diagnosed with, or are suspected of having a cow's milk protein allergy (CMPA). Aptamil Pepti Stage 1 is an extensively hydrolyzed formula in which cow's milk proteins are broken down by 90%, and while many babies with a cow's milk protein allergy may thrive on this formula, it is not suitable for every child with CMPA. Only use this formula under the recommendation, guidance, and supervision of your child's pediatrician.
The definitions of the terms partially hydrolyzed and extensively hydrolyzed vary by country, and there is no global standard for the degree to which milk proteins are hydrolyzed in context of these labels. Aptamil Pepti Stage 1 is hydrolyzed by a factor of 90%.

Important Feeding Information
- Each baby formula uses different mixing proportions. Only use the scoop that is included in your formula.
- Only add water and scoops at the ratios intended by the manufacturer. Do not supplement the milk feeds with any additional ingredients.
- Do not prepare feeds in advance. In order to maintain maximum nutritional value, use the feeds immediately and dispose of any leftovers feed.
- Once prepared, feed should be used within 2 hours. Prepared formula should not be refrigerated, stored, or reheated in any way, as this could increase the risk of bacterial contamination from sources external to the formula, and storage may cause prepared formula to separate.
- Once opened, formula should be used within 21 days. Any unopened formula should not be used after the expiration date printed by the manufacturer on the box.
