About Holle Dutch Goat Stage 2 Organic
Holle Goat Dutch Stage 2 Organic Follow-on Infant Milk Formula is specially designed to be gentle on baby stomachs and easier to digest than similar organic cow's milk formulas. As a natural transition from Holle Goat Dutch Stage 1, this formula can be given to babies aged six months and older and has an increased abundance of nutrients and essential minerals that promote early development and a healthy balanced diet. Holle Goat Dutch Stage 2 can also be given to babies who are transitioning from breast milk, transitioning from another formula, or can be used to supplement and complement a breast milk diet.
This organic goat milk clean formula is also helpful in reducing constipation and bloating due to the goat milk enzymes that are easier to digest, even for the most sensitive of tummies. Holle Goat Dutch Stage 2 is rich in lactose, and is also free from any soy, palm oil, gluten, sugar, corn syrup, and GMO's. There are no artificial flavors or artificial preservatives in this formula - only organic goat milk that helps promote a healthy gut biome at an early age.
For over 85 years, Holle has been one of the most well respected baby formula brands worldwide. Holle's strict adherence to the Demeter standard for organic, biodynamic farming makes their formulas very clean and simple - without unnecessary ingredients. To maintain the Demeter certification, Holle has to reapply for this accolade on a yearly basis. Due to the stringent rules for ecosystem preservation and the highest level of animal welfare standards, the Demeter certification is significantly more difficult to achieve than any comparable organic certification in the United States.
Organic Life Start works directly with Holle in Germany to deliver fresh baby formula that has a long expiration date of six months or more. Each shelf-stable can of Holle Goat Dutch Stage 2 contains 800 grams (28.2 oz) of formula powder, which yields approximately 210 fluid ounces of prepared formula.
Important note: please consult with your pediatrician if your baby has been diagnosed with a cow's milk allergy. This formula is unlikely to be suitable for babies with cow's milk allergies, though it may still be suitable if your baby has a cow's milk sensitivity (and not a cow's milk allergy). For babies with cow's milk allergies you should instead consider a hydrolyzed formula, such as HiPP HA which contains hydrolyzed proteins that are less prone to provoking an allergic reaction.
